It All Leads to This

In its first year, the Swatch Beach Volleyball Major Series has seen three incredible stops around the world and now all eyes turn toward the USA. In one month the Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals, the last event of the 2015 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour, takes over Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The stage is set for an epic showdown, but the final cast has not yet been chosen. That right must be earned. The road to the Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals in Fort Lauderdale has proven to be a battle between some of the best athletes in the world - an elite group of men and women competing at the highest level in this Olympic discipline. To qualify for the Season Final these teams must be ranked in the top 8 on the 2015 FIVB World Tour between Jan 1st and September 8th. Now with only two events left to secure ranking and fight for one of the top 8 spots, the competition and the anticipation have risen to new heights. Two wild card entries per gender will also be awarded to bring the total to 20 elite teams competing in The Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals that could give us an exclusive preview of the 2016 Rio Olympics.

In addition to the honor of claiming the 2015 Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals title, there is also $100,000 on the line for both the men’s and women’s champion. That is the largest single-tournament payout in beach volleyball history. It all leads to this. The Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals is the finale that every beach volleyball athlete and every fan has been waiting for.
